Swift Youth Group

The Swift Youth Group, in Plaistow, east London, runs a range of activities for local young people. Every Friday evening a team of volunteers (including Webscript's Dan) open up the Swift centre and organise drama, dance and sports for the diverse and lively youth club. Alongside the weekly youth club the Swift Youth Group also run a popular annual summer camp, cycling projects, international work camps and occasional weekend camping expeditions.

This is a valuable resource for young people from this deprived area of London, providing a safe and welcoming environment to be with friends, take part in sports and experience new and unusual activities.

Mera Peak

Former employee, supplier and friend of the team Lee Henderson is raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association by going to the top of the highest trekking mountain in the Himalayas - Mera Peak. Lee hopes to raise £50,000 for the MNDA and he is well on the way to reaching his target. After many months of planning and physical training he is due to attempt this feat in April 2008.

Again Webscript have been on hand for help, advice and support, as well as designing, developing and hosting Lee's website and doing the occasional bit of print design. Good luck Lee!
